Just testing and moving up to the new blogger interface

Hi all my beautiful scrapping friends, today is my children's last day of school. They are a lot less stress now that  regents and final tests are over. I am just happy to get back to some crafting again and maybe join some challenges they are so fun. I also want to enjoy some time with them out doors in the summer sun. I  upgraded to the new blogger interface, because the old one will be taken away in a few weeks and I might as well move up now while I have the time. So my blog might look funny for a few days, until I learn the ins and outs of it. I discovered it is a bit confusing but  nothing you can't learn. I was having a little trouble placing the gadgets where they go and a few other stuff.

On another note my Birthday is not until Friday but my sneaky Daughter and Son along with the rest of the family collaborated this past Saturday  to throw me a surprise birthday dinner at Red Lobster, they were all there (about 24 family members) including my darling grandchildren. I had a fabulous time and the waiter's came over after the dinner to sing me Happy Birthday and give me a slice of the most delicious slice of chocolate cake and ice cream, which I was to full to eat so the grand children gladly ate it (oh well , some one had to eat it).  I might post some pics later, for now I leave you with the photo above of what I chose which is my favorite dish and my favorite drink when ever I go there.  You can see a little of my hubby's dinner behind my drink, he love's fried seafood while I like mine's grilled. Thanks my friends for taking the time to read this post. I'll be back with more later in the week. Hugs and God bless to all.

Happy Friday to all my crafting blogging friends.

Hope everyone is doing great! I have been spring cleaning and organizing since school will be over in a few weeks. I will then have more time for blogging and scrapping, but most of all more time for PROJECT LIFE!  YES yes I'm in love with project life (There I've said it). This system of scrapping better known as documenting the moments in our lives that Becky Higgins has come up with is so GREAT. I love the ease of it all. The end of this month will have three good things going for me the first is the end of school which equals to more crafting time for me. The second is that the project life core kits including the original now called cherry edition will be back in stock on Amazon. And the third is, it will be my birthday and the kids will soon start asking what do I want and my answer will be core kits and page protectors (Yay for me).

I also like to go blog watching and see all the wonderful you tube videos people do using project life. I like to  see how the whole community fills up their albums, all the same way yet all the albums come out different when you add your own photos and embellishments. Okay enough is enough, I have babbled long enough for you to get the point, how much I am loving project life.

I took some time this week to do two cards for one of my favorite challenge blog. The theme is anything goes but you can use the three colors Yellow, Gray and Blue if you want to.  I incorporated these colors in my cards. The little naughty boy is a digi stamp from MJM and I colored him with a combination of prisma and copic markers. I also used the bubble all around punch from Martha Stewart. For the little boy going fishing digi, I colored him up using just copics and I used the punch double arches for the edge and my scallop scissors to go around the image. I will be entering these two cards in the Jackson's Digital Expression card challenge blog. Well that's all for now, I will try to post more next week.  Have a wonderful weekend my friends. Hugs and God bless.

Who can get upset with this little guy. Just look at that face, he looks just like my grandson  when he does some mischief. And that is the same answer he will give if you ask who did it. Hmmm.

Now this little boy looks like my little guy but with different  hair color.
